Yep. Since Scion was discontinued, Toyota just rebadged them as the 86, Yaris IA, and Corolla IM.

Yeah and the brz too. I’d imagine they’re pretty slow. Wish they’d do a turbo or s/c’d model but that would probably be in the same price range as the focus rs and civic type r.

Toyota doesn't build high HP sports cars. That's not their thing. Look at why the original 86 was super popular. It handled well. The new 86 handles well. You want big numbers and going fast in a straight line? Go buy a ford or chevy or a fodge. They cater to your fancy.

Welp, it’s back and somehow even bigger. But by a strange turn of events, I’m picking up a 100 series Friday, too.

God no. That thing is disgusting. Let the Supra die, it’s not gonna be anything like we remember at this point.

I’m still waiting for one of these manufacturers to bring back a select number of backdated iconic cars. Like a 2017 Toyota Supra, but literally a regular Mk4 twin turbo from 1994. Or an S14 Silvia, but again manufactured in 2017. Maybe a thousand of each on the planet, and only do it once.

@BiohazardTaco @68dave i agree whole heartedly the original Supra is an absolute monster and untouchable. If I had all the money in the world that would be the car in my garage over everything else just because I have that much love for it! The FT-1 though...... lord have mercy if you are a modern/techy person/new era person that is THE SHIT! Many other cars are faster have better options and whatever else but that right there is a All in one if they were to actually release them! With Toyota’s knowledge, reputation, and durability...... it would be unstoppable IMO

It's going to look more like this than that other thing. They are already testing it at Nuremberg.

I get all the Toy feeds!

I also have a Citizen Toyota 86 Limited Edition watch. (note- Look below the Citizen name in the lower left hand corner, 86 logo is shown) The car was being produced in Australia long before it was here as the 86)

    Yea, I'm a Toyota freak.

Yup. I actually have a replacement exhaust from the other cavalier that I could use. Still doesn't make it less of a PITA

Okay. Need to make an appointment with a Toyota dealer to have them fix my 7 pin that doesn't work post frame swap. Any reccomendations? Not doing Toyota of bowie, as they have dropped the ball with me. I'm thinking Toyota of glen Burnie, the internet at large seems to like them.
