Although I will say, ingenuity at its finest.

 

So what's the criteria? Food\drink on site or nearby?
Maybe someplace we can "tailgate"? Set up some grills, have a potluck cookout - evryone cook stuff and share with everyone else?
Finding someplace that will let us imbibe our favorite beverage is tough to find.

 

I'm gona start looking... I want to know my fellow taco owners.

 

a place we could tailgate would be ideal, that seems to be a good bet so were not dependent on a restaurant having an opening for a large group.

 

Frisco in Columbia is a good spot. Good food, lots of beers on tap, huge parking lot in the back.

Oh, and is there such a thing as a southern MD accent? I’ve only worked with two people that made it known they were from southern MD, and they both had a thick accent. I always figured they were trolling everyone real hard.

I’m thinking about moving into a house sometime towards the end of this year. Throwing money away as rent isn’t a long term goal. If y’all can suggest as to where a single man would move to in MD/Va - and still REASONABLY commute to DC - I’d appreciate it!

I've been told I have an accent. Mostly by folks from PA or NJ and northward. Folks in the south say I've got a nother accent, so maybe it is another language lol. I've lived here my entire life.

 

This all depends on what your looking to spend and what you consider a decent commute .As you know you can live 25 miles outside of Dc and still take over a hour to get there

Got my new to me rescue tonight! Got her from a kill shelter in GA that kills 10-20 dogs a day. 6 years old, deaf, nothing but love and sweetness.

 

You can always tell who's from around SOMD and who's drinking the bay water lol. Im actually from Texas, just a military couple so we move around a bit, now in SOMD for a second time and still liking it. This is a good place to have fun, hunt, fish, network and get ahead in life.
