I finally broke down and bought a pistol trigger style grease gun because I don't have three hands. I figured I could use it on the truck since I do my own tire rotations. :der: No zerks on new trucks.

So now I use it on my tractor/mower/snow blower combo.

    Hot damn!!!
That's significantly more than I paid for a house with acreage. That price tag would pay off the house and almost buy the townhouse I moved out of.

    Yawn...
    Sounds cool!

    Brb... selling my soul...

Commute would be an hour like you said, but once you’re home - you’re home!

I replaced most of my interior lights with red. Unfortunately, the guy on this forum that sells the normal ones told me there wasn’t a demand for red......... now I see you have a link for them with red as an option.

Anybody in SOMD (I’m in Calvert) that has ECGS needle bearing tools? Moreover, anybody nearby done their own lift. Thinking of doing bullies with coils and aal I think, not purchased yet. I’d LIKE to do it myself but I’m more of a woodwork guy, not mechanically confident. Further, no level asphalt/concrete driveway, no garage.......beer...$$$$...?????

I’ve installed 6-7 lifts and am very comfortable in doing it. As a matter of fact just installed a full lift on a 3rd gen last week! You’re welcome to come over whenever and we can knock it out in my driveway.

I’m in silver spring, near Walter Reed! I’m about to do my ECGS bushing as well so I’ll have the experience to help you there.

He's making them now and plans on doing a rear dome too. also, he's hinted at a newer version of the front map lights that are supposed to be brighter yet! As usual though the demand far exceeds the supply so you have to be quick.

He also has another batch of the blacked out turn signals ready to go right now.

You have zerks on the u joints in the front and rear drive shafts. Hit them with a pump or two every oil change.

Sounds like a plan! Getting tires (265 75 16 KO2s) and the OTR option ARE shell comes in 10 days. I want to see what it looks like and decide on final lift. I’ll reach out when decided. Thanks again!

No shit? I thought they stopped that, and was even told that by a guy I know. Something about after a certain year. I have red grease in the gun, will that be ok?

Thanks for letting me know about the U joints!

My 2016 Tacoma had zerks on the u joints and so does my 2016 4R. Not certain what grease is "supposed to be used" but I just used whatever I had. I'm sure it'll be fine either way, I don't think anything special is required.

My Land cruiser has been sitting up here in the mountains for 3 weeks without being touched. I went out this morning to snow on the ground. I needed to run down into town so I figured I would drive the LC. It was so cold i had to pry a door open, they were all frozen shut but she still fired right up. I might run over to either Buchanon State forest or GR tomorrow and hit some trails for a couple hours. Anybody gonna be out this way?

Crack open that owner's manual lol. I tell people that at work when they ask me what kind of oil their vehicle takes. Like I'm suppose to know the recommended oil for each make, model & engine size off the top of my head.
