OK....you can only use either the surf casting gear or the kayaks but not both at the same time.

You know, you guys really are a classy bunch! True comrades! The offers for help are just so generous and sincere in this thread. I really appreciate it a lot.

I may joke a lot but ultimately I'll be out there some day. I just need to get my shit together and make the time. I would like to be a little more prepared though. As a matter of fact, just yesterday I added some of the components for the rear differential breather mod to my Amazon cart. I also want to cut off that piece of the plastic body in the rear part of the wheel well where I rub at a quarter turn going over any bump or dip. I know these are not shit excuses but I feel the better prepared I am the more I'll be able to enjoy the experience. I just need to find the time in my extremely busy schedule to get some things done. If I rush it I could regret it.

Well, you are right, and they are just painted. Definitely builds a case for mounting my tires on steelies and running a less aggressive tire all other times. Had I thought about it like this originally I would have kept my OEM wheels instead of selling them.

I sorta feel like when I do actually go with ya'll I will have to come to the realization that you can't make an omelet without first breaking an egg. Would just be nice to be further along in ownership and not have so much fear of mishaps. Would definitely suck to trash things for something I do only once or twice a year.

There are other options though. Like, I still would like to ride a bike, so maybe a two wheeler out there might not be a bad trade off. I also have a really decent drone I'm learning how to use (when time permits) so maybe a guy on a two wheeler that can document the going's on on the members is a decent trade off for leaving my truck safely in the parking lot. LOL

Money is another factor. What little disposable cash I have goes to vacations, house and property maintenance, and then the truck. Not necessarily in that order. I have a great job that I really like, and while sound, I do not make a lot of cash. Constantly buying new vehicles doesn't help either. I think that has come to an end though with this new car and truck. So ultimately things will get better financially. Meaning more disposable cash.

There's nothing stopping me though from hanging out with everyone on the easy stuff when the opportunity and time permits. Then @Fire Arrow and I will go and we will watch the hard stuff and have fun on the easy stuff.

I'm free pretty much all tomorrow, and earlier in the day on Friday if anything works out.

Or next Tuesday I'm going to visit my wifes grandma in baltimore for lunch, so I could take the truck and could meet you on the way there or back.

OR Monday I'm heading out to Mobtown so I can also show you on the way there or back.

I usually fish the bay and offshore. Not opposed to fly fishing, just haven't done it since I was pretty young.
