Got the Taco wave from a silver third gen DCSB today in Huntingtown on Wilson Rd. Thought I was having deja Vu. I waved back but not sure if you saw.

 

A buddy of mine sold me a bunch of fishing tackle today and I got him to throw in these 3 bears for free. Should look good in my cabin.

Hey man. They were pretty chill people. I waited it only took about an hour, but it’s all depends on how many people they have walk in before you. It’s not stainless, aluminized steel. They quoted me less than half of what Wits end was going to charge, but Kenny was going to use mandrel bent stainless. I didn’t need all of that fancyness.

 

As far as I know the rear cats don’t have any sensors. It wouldn’t be bad for your truck to remove them, just a bit worse for the environment. I have never had my truck inspected so I can’t comment on the legality of it in MD. You can probably get a custom “X” pipe made and welded just behind your existing cats though then you won’t have to worry.

Yea, most likely when they plug into the OBD it really shouldn't matter if they are there or not if they aren't hooked up to sensors. If not then as you say, more pollution control. Which we know kills mpgs and power.

My other ride is a hybrid so the environmental aspect evens itself out. I've never been a tree hugger anyway. Plus I recycle.

What gets me is, in Maryland diesel engine vehicles are excluded from emissions tests. How backwards is that?

The X pipe is a good idea to help equalize pressure though.

Steel Spares from gen 2 & 3 that I collected and then had powder coated gloss black.

 

It’s was like 60 miles away, almost had myself talked into it, but it just sold. I’m getting into the boat brokering business on the side and have been doing well, so i have a few extra bucks to play with. Thought it would be fun, but sold in 15 minutes

 

At that price I'm not surprised it sold so quick. When it comes to 4x4's Landcruisers are bringing the money. I messaged a woman about a 95 FZJ80 last week. She was asking $1500, she didn't mention lockers in her ad so I asked but that fast it sold.

Doesn’t look like it. But those wheels are 7.5” wide with a weird offset. Plus he took the flares off
