No. The tundra is a great truck if you use it. Just helped him know what his options are and how they'd work. I don't think he is getting rid of the tacoma tho. haha. Why would anyone get rid of one?

So no one at the dealer wanted to even talk about a tundra let alone talk prices oh well it may be a sign. Although I seem a crew max sr5 that I really liked dark grey but no one was helpful.

I had the same experience when ever I've gone there. I guess they only take older people seriously.

Were they busy or just prejudice because of your age?

They weren't busy. I dunno if it was my age or not they didn't have a problem with it when I bought this truck. I think it had more to do with it being crappy out cause they weren't really helping anyone.

Piss poor dealership. Sales staff should have had a golf umbrella.

Just don't buy a Ford! I traded in a dying F150 for my new Tacoma. And the thing only had 90k on it.
Also I wouldn't recommend Russel Toyota, not that you're looking there. They have steep prep fees.

You're scaring me a bit about the towing. I used to tow 4k in a Ridgeline and it towed great, even in the hills of southern VA. Never towed in the mountains though. I was assuming the Tacoma would tow the same if not better than the Honda!

If it's just 4k you're fine in terms of safety (assuming good trailer brakes). Maybe the trd supercharger would indeed be the upgrade you need.

When I shopped the Tacoma I saw a white 2104 Tundra DC off road. Beautiful truck and I was tempted but after owning a full size for a year I knew I didn't need the capability. Plus the gas mileage is horrible and I didn't feel like taking it in road trips. Now we take the Tacoma almost everywhere!

Don't be too worried about the towing there's a really steep hill here I have to go up when towing If we bring the boat to the house. The truck towed great stock. I'm lifted and run 265/70/17's and it still tows good but I wanna jump to a 285 maybe a 275 and I worried when I do there won't be enough power.

My Dad's got a 2012 Tundra - his only complaint is the MPG and the gas tank is too small.
I'd post pics but he went & chromed the snot out of it... It's pretty bad.

    :woot:

For us old farts. I did not find a set of chrome 5 spokes that I liked for the Tacoma. :anonymous:

I am very happy with my 5 spoke anthracite rims and feel they look better than chrome on my BSP Tacoma. ;)

I don't think i can make it. And what i wanted to sell down there, i have a buddy interested in now....so i would only be going to see new vehicles and faces. And i'm a cheap ass who doesn't want to spend the gas on a 2.5 hour drive....
