Anyone got connections out here for a CMC chop? Under $200?

I'll do it for you for $50 and I'll even supply the plates. I'm not a great welder, but it'll look fine by the end of it and it's purely cosmetic. Lemme know if you want me to.

Right, "fine" and me saying "wont" is just my way of saying BULLSHIT. I told you originally when you posted these that I thought the shit looked better than freakin' OEM. I would get mine done even if they didn't need it just because, well, #RandyFab.

No Limit in Baltimore will do it for $250 if you leave it open or $350 if you want the CMC plate welded in to clean it up.

Edit: Nevermind. I just saw that @EatSleepTacos offered to do it for $50.

If you’re referring to the sales person you were working with, they don’t appraise cars. My General Manager would have did an actual inspection and test drive of your truck.

I had a bad experience......3 years ago I think when I went to browns? I needed a base of the base model with 4x4, simply to get out of two cars I was mad upside down on and couldn't afford two payments (bad breakup). Whoever I was working with comes rolling up in a DCSB TRD Sport and asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin. I said no, I can't afford that. Go back inside, he finds me a base model like I need! Wait 30 minutes for him to talk to whoever he wanted to talk to, and in the mean time I saw it was a 2wd. I was with my dad at the time and we walked out. Has it gotten better in the past few years? :fingerscrossed:

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you got a newbie sales person that didn’t know their product very well. One of the biggest things we preach is properly fact finding with the client to find out their wants and needs to find the exact vehicle they want. We’ve never had a bad staff in the time I’ve worked there, but just like with any job sometimes the person you interview is not the person that shows up to the job. The problem with sales is it takes a couple mishandled customer interactions before we realize we have to make a change with that individual.

Quick question. I know it’s suggested to re gear for going 35s but is it really necessary? I don’t mind the MPGs or the lack of power. I just don’t want to do internal damage.

Browns was a consideration when I bought. In the back of my mind I still feel like I should have given them a better chance.

The worst was the Toyota dealership on Bel Air road just outside the beltway, north. They flat out lied.

Of course you don’t have to. But it is harder on stuff.

Why are you dead set on 35s?

I ended up buying my first one from antwerpen, second one from koons. Koonss was awesome. Gave me a screaming deal and did decent on my trade in so I couldn't complain.
