I'd be interested in one (aluminium), or a tube style that can handle a winch, which I'm really interested in! I don't want to have to change my front shocks unless it's absolutely necessary. Not yet.

Those aren't coyotes! You need to call those dudes from that show MOUNTAIN MONSTERS! I'm sure you have some sort of creatures up there and you need to contact them immediately!

It’s not that they’re marked up, that’s just what it costs to make them. Seeing first hand the labor that goes into mobtowns sliders, I understand why sliders cost what they do. I too used to think truck armor in general was very overpriced, but that was just because I didn’t understand.
    How come?

I put stickers for more horse power!
Same here, after making my own bumper I understand why they are expensive and why they take so long to be made. If I had to make a bumper for somebody else I would charge twice as Mobtown offroad

Same with me and my tube doors! Fabrication is a lot of work, and not easy to do well.

Well, I'm more inclined to go with a tube style and there's a rumor that one is in the works. I just don't really need (or hope I will need) a full plate steel bumper. I can appreciate what they offer however.

No matter what though, there's no reason for me to buy anywhere else but from @Mobtown Offroad. Call me old fashioned but I remember when customer service was as important as the products themselves. It was my first time meeting Joe but it was clear he was willing to help me achieve my goals.

I saved a lot of money, I got quality products, and I was able to support a local business. Not only that, he's an avid member and now a friend I can wheel with. Nuthin' wrong with any of that.

I'd be lying if I said I've never checked but Joe's prices are not exuberant and in line with everyone else. Again, too many positives to buy elsewhere. For me.

    A thing or two...
That's what the back of my bumper looks like, and it definitely doesn't feel weak or flimsy.

Finally went to roll it out of the garage only for it to have flattened the battery.

Found a more compact unit. Hoping to install that into my center console for a seemless hidden and clean look.

The 980 is gorgeous and so nice but its too damn big.

@Mobtown Offroad is an A1 stand up guy. And i’m not blowing smoke up his ass or anyone else’s. I’m very pleased with his products and the way he handles business. I also like when he isn’t afraid to say nice things about other companies.

I know he would prefer i buy his bumper, but do i think for even a second that he would be mad at me if the reason i went with someone else was to save weight and get aluminum, that he would be upset and treat me differently? Absolutely not. Would never cross my mind...he’s not that type of fella.

Plus he knows i definitely need to get off my ass and order sliders. Its comical that its taken me this long. Downright embarrassing

    :)
