So I'm thinking of trying to make a Satoshi, but dont want to destroy my grill in the process. Should I try it?

 

What is the color of your Tacoma?

 

I would use rustoleum rust encapsolator. I've seen as new as 05s all surface rusted to hell up here. So it probably isn't a bad investment. My next truck will get it because i plan to run it till it dies.

 

Buy used or from a parts destributer....then buu the tpms sensors whole sale too. Just shop ebay regularly and post a WTB thread on TW obviously. Which ever ones you want, someone will be selling them.

 

Do you have the grey grill center? I wouldn't ruin the pretty painted center. If you had the faded plain black plastic like mine, i'd say go for it dude.

 

Its white with the brownish? grill.

I'd go for it dude, you may also want to look into painting the grill surround to color match or swap it out for a chrome one. But as for the satoshi? Go for it dude! Post pictures too.

 

Cool so do u want the tires too or no? Cause I got somebody else interested in the tires. Tell u what $650 for wheels and tires and $450 for just wheels. Let me know.

 

Well my wheels and tires are literally brand new. Could u do $400? And are u talking just wheels?

 

Yeah, maybe I'll be able to tack down a cheap used one to play with. I think they look really nice on the super whites

 

Ell that way you could keep your current for a spair. Or you could hack yours up to learn and practice with. I know when i get my finances in order, i'll be hitting Homer up for a custom grill because i want to keep mine as a spair. I think your truck would benefit majorly from a colormatched surround and satoshi center

 

If you're building a satoshi, get the mesh of Mr.Taco he is the master.

Hey Craig, do you sell the plain grills too. Before paint & satoshi. Or know of anyone with a cheap stock grill they don't want?
