I hear you on that one got about seven rifles to check tomorrow. Gotta make sure they are sighted in for rifle season. And need to do some coyote hunting too.

Gotta keep that freezer and pantry full son. Besides, just like i tell girly girls and hippies that "love animals," i kill them so that they die a better death and are used to feed than being hit by a car driven by some random scumbag and left on the road to die alone, injured, afriad, and sometimes chewed on while still alive.

I've been with animals in their final moments as i was harvesting them, call me crazy but i talk to them, thank them for providing my family with life, warmth and sustainability, then i tell them of how they'll be better off than the rest of us, that they will bever be hungry, cold, frightened or startled ever again. Its pretty spiritual, even though i'm not extremely religious.

Just today i stopped on the side of the road when i saw a deer that had been hit by a car....she eas eill alive and flopping around with a broken leg....i hope i comforted that soul in its final moments when it deserved better than to be left in the ditch on the side of the road, cold, scared and dying. It is a very big deal to me that i hunt and manage animal populations so things like that don't have to happen nearly as often.

There is a little rant for you.

I actually got my first blank lower a couple of months ago and will be getting a parts kit soon so i can start my tactical rifle. After i build the AR15, i want to buld an AR10. i cant wait to coyote hunt with an AR10 :D then my screen name will have meaning as i love my black rifles.

I also agree with the love of bolt action Matt, i love my .270 damn near a drill press and it is a meat rifle, meaning it shoots same hole on animals in my hands.....(knock on wood) i haven't missed yet and haven't needed a second shot yet.

Oh, Matt, if you and i ever meet...i will get you to try venison. Each has its own taste, whitetails, mule deer and elk all taste dramatically different. I love a nice big whitetail doe for eating. Also, the hams make nice steaks, the shoulders and hams are good for cooking dishes like stirfry with vegetables, and the loins are the best, i like them flowered and cooked in a skillet with canola oil.
There are plenty of ways to try it so don't jump to conclusions if you aren't satisfied the first time you try it. The first time i had elk, ut was under cooked and almost made me sick but it tasted great and i'd have another go at it any day. Buffalo is another meat that is awesome. And believe it or not, i tried bear bologna the other week and it was actually pretty good.

To each his own. I prefer to maintain the taste of the deer. I get tired of bologna quickly because it is often drowned in garlic and peppers that just ruin the taste of the meat. IMO of course.

Hopefully they do I've heard stories of them taking care of people who are just out of warranty cause there parts shouldn't fail like that with the proper maintenance.
