A trick that helps with a slide hammer is to use a ratchet strap, come-a-long, on a winch to keep constant, significant, pressure pulling on the tool then just slam the slide hammer home a few times and your done. I've never needed more then 3 or 4 strokes (insert joke here) before the hub and/or bearing came free.
Maybe I've just been lucky though. :notsure:

So I took the truck for a drive last night. Pretty sure its a bad wheel bearing. Got up to 40 and did a little swervy swervy, the humming went away when turning right but remained when turning left. Still want to jack the front end up and feel for differences between the two sides, but would this indicate that the passenger side is bad? Since the noise went away when un-loading that side?

That sounds right. If the wheel bearings are bad enough you will feel play in them when you jack up the truck and yank the top of the wheel back and forth. I have some experience with bad bearings in trailers and ATV's, but not cars/trucks. Same principle though.

If you really want a badass 3rd Gen, nows the time to buy the Orange Virus Tune. The latest tune version released completely dumped the worthless stock code and has been replaced with something even 2nd Gen drivers would be envious of. The 2.0 beta tune that’s available has not been released for the 2019s yet but may be by end of next week. By the time you’d get it in the mail it should be available

Is it a camping and/or a wheeling meet? I dont mind driving either. Back in 03 I drove to Vegas, got married then drove home. I was driving 12-14 hours a day on that trip. Drove to Texas to pick up my camper, I don't mind driving at all as long as I have some tunes playing and water to sip on.

Back in the day we used to tell how long a road trip would be, for example, your 6 hour trip to Yankee land would be, oh about a case and a half drive o_O

No that means driver side is bad. Loading the bearing takes away the slop.

Just picked up my truck from Darcars Toyota, got the ac fixed and knocked out the trans flush. They quoted me 130$ but ended up being $350 but they’ll didn’t call me and tell me they changed the price so kept it at 130 no questions asked. Awesome customer service
