the easy on easy off feature is what makes them so great. I installed a locking tailgate, and with the tonno, i can put all my crap in the bed, keeping it locked up and out of sight.

Tacomas should've come with a locking tailgate from the factory though.

Yeah, its so easy to take them off without an after factory mod. makes all the sense in the world to have the tailgate locks factory installed, which is why it will never happen.

Had anyone installed the pop n lock that is compatible with the backup camera? I want to do it but I'm afraid I'll do something wrong and not be able to use the camera haha

I have, the camera assembly slides out if the old and right into the new. You'll be more worried about getting the handle and rods lined up. It takes more time to take all the bolts off and the tailgate plastic than it does to swap the handles.

Not putting a hose clamp on my paint. I'll put something in between the pant and the clamp.

So buy the color matched and sell the old one. Think of it as a $20 mistake. In the scheme of things that is not a very expensive mistake.

I'm not really concerned about brightness just wanted something to fill the holes in the bumper more or less.
