Right now I am still trying to get my money for as many of the mods I added as I can, including the wheels. After talking with others I decided removing things would be much harder than it sounds.

Now, if they decline any of the invoices I submitted then I will see what's up.

Pretty much though, as it stands, I have one mint condition Ray 10. Because I bought 5 originally. So worst case. I buy 3 more.

I'm so undecided Mason. I really like the Runner when I had it. A lot! And I will either build a trailer or just buy one to use to haul trash this time. One of the main reasons I am considering a 2020 Tacoma is to get the power seats, and Android Auto. TSS is the same on 19's and 20's. I definitely want pre-collision in whatever I buy for obvious reasons! (some dumb bitch cut out in front of the wife and I last night in the Lex. Had to jam on the breaks and slide a little. I may have overreacted a bit but it's still too soon so......)

Power driver and passenger seats are standard a 4Runner. Even my 14' had em. 4 wheel disc brakes too.

Plus the Runner just has a lot more bells and whistles overall. Things that should be on a Taco. One thing that is intriguing since I am a techie, is the Android Auto feature. It's not a deal breaker but it would be nice.

Oh damn! Forgot to tell you. Those LEDs I have are 9005 ????????????????

You need apple carplay to show you whats really real.

    I don’t think 9003 and 9005 are compatible :(

Dude, The first real car I bought with my own money had rectangular halogen headlights, power everything, automatic headlights (high beams and on/off headlights, for when you went in a tunnel or at night), a foot operated switch on the floor board for the preselects on the stereo, self closing trunk and self leveling rear air shocks. So I was spoiled as a young lad.

I was 19, the year was in 1981, and it was a 1975 Eldorado. I paid $1,600 cash and the only blemish on it was a cigar burn barely visible on the drivers side carpet. You had to almost look under the seat. The couldn't get rid of those types of cars during the gas wars of the 80's.

However, I have also been not so spoiled. I drove used cars for another 13 years after that. I owned an Audi Fox. Everything was manual. I also owned a Reliant K aka K Car, and it had a hole in the floor board that if the mat slipped off and in the rain you went over a puddle the water would hit the headliner, which was metal in there. I had 68' Ford Galaxy wagon and a Galaxy 4 door sedan, painted rattle can flat black and it also didn't have a headliner.

In 87' the wife and I married, after 4 of living in sin and In 93' we bought our first new car. A Teal Green Subaru Loyale! We thought we were hot shit!!!

I had a Code Alarm system installed and it was expensive but I could actually open the and close the sun roof and all the windows with it.

From there the rest is history, and has been all new whips.

If you ever want a ride in a "Space Ship" though, let me know. I can help you with that.

This taco is my first vehicle, really enjoying it (and not having to feed my dads 04 jeep with gas, at 10 mpg).

Yea, we were poor in the beginning and had to drive whatever. It ultimately blew a head gasket and I left it in the mall parking lot, took the tags off it and caught a bus home.

I had a 1980 Ford Bronco, with monster mudders on it. It got 8 mpg. That caddy had the largest production engine in the world (in a consumer driven vehicle) with a 4 barrel carb. You could see the gas needle move when you got it up to 110.

I once counted them all, cars bikes and trucks and I am over like 14 or 15 I think. When we bought our first house it cost less at the time than a 3/4 ton diesel Ram I bought like 12 years later.

I had hoped the Tacoma I had would be the last truck I ever paid a monthly payment on. So much for that fucking plan. Now I have to start all over. We commute 400+ miles a week to work so something that could leave us stranded is out of the question. I am no spring chicken either so crawling around under them, like me is getting old real quick. I modded the shit outta my Taco, for two years, and put a lot of money into it. I was not even done. The pieces of the puzzle were armor bumpers and possibly a cap. Then I was done done. I didn't even to scratch it off road and I know a lot of people will shake their heads at me for that and call me a dumb ass but I baby my rides and prepare them for the destruction I typically cause them. I just wasn't ready for that yet. I was so freaking close though.

So now like I said, I need to start over. Why I am thinking about a Pro. A Pro, or a Off Road with the Premium and Advanced Technology packages would basically put me back to where I was outta the gate. Except this time I am not waiting for bumpers. I will just not rock crawl. But I promise everyone, that bitch will be as dirty as I can fucking get as soon as I can.

Dave, I know you read my posts Brother. I promise you I will be up your cabin before Spring at least and hopefully before Christmas if I get my way, and we will be on that Old Line Road. Bring a winch, I will likely need it.

I used to go every year, but haven't been in three or four years. I miss it. Especially now that YouTube has really changed the way these things are publicized and followed.
