Were you fainting? I hear that's a byproduct of arrhythmia.

Last year during a physical my primary care doc was looking at my EKG results and outta the blue asked, "did you have a heart attack?"

I looked at him and asked if he was serious. He said yeah. I said, no. He asked if I was sure. I told him I'm pretty sure I would have remembered it.

So he showed me the irregularity on the printout. Then he had the nerve to say, our computer records system is down or I would bring up the previous tests.

Now I'm like WTF!?

To be safe he ordered an echocardiogram and a ultrasound with a heart specialist. Said the results would determine if I needed to get a stress test.

I was so relieved to pass with flying colors.

 

They always overestimate the time. Guys like us don't play by their rules

 

You do the stress test ?

 

Didn't have to. The other two tests were normal and the specialist didn't see any need for it.

 

So true I’m the oldest guy at work and run circles around those snowflakes .

 

No just having palpitations,ultra sound showed everything was working right the holter monitor is a device I have to wear for 24 hrs and it records my heart beats .My dr says to lay off caffeine and alcohol and get more sleep ,I told I have to have my Mt Dew and my Ipa so I’ll see you in the afterlife.

 

and it's his job to keep you alive, regardless what ya dew, that's why they get the big bucks.....make em werk for it,for a change !

 

I did one of those tests once. Expect inconclusive results

Once a year my doc does an EKG as part of my physical. I take a picture of it and keep it in my phone. Just in case a situation arises, like yours, I can show the doc what normal is like.

 

This is right in my backyard it sounds like fun!! I will definitely be stopping by to meet some of the fellow Maryland Tacoma owners!!

 

Ahhhh, I see you had them too. Well to be honest, the tech that did the tests said she wasn't at liberty to say what she thought about my results but she did say "comparitivly speaking, everything looks normal to me" LOLOLOLOL.

 

I didn't stop, I just meant I would start at that moment, at work!

See, we're so alike! I have a ACL in my left leg I never had fixed. It only hyperextends when I've had too much to drink then get crazy on the dance floor.
