He paid $600k, it was built in 2018 so it's fairly new. I bet in Maryland it would be $800k. He wanted more land but in Morgantown in the school district that he wanted that wasn't possible. He wants to buy land up on the mountain where I'm at now.

Yup I did the same thing. I sold a handful of my Spyderco's and other stuff since I quit carrying them after getting my first Benchmade. I think I still have a Delica because I like how the lock feels and it is really simple. The mini grip just rides nice and feels better in my hand. I thought about getting a Spyderco Salt series knife for the boat, but my mini grip doesn't have any signs of corrosion or wear other than the paint worn off the pocket clip.

Happy Monday folks. I don’t know if any of you guys are into the Meso Customs stuff but he just released some more inventory. I had been waiting on the ac vent chrome deletes and headlight trim pieces that came out today.

    Heyo fellow Marylanders!

So I know there's the Savage River ORV park out west with all its permits and spark-arresting muffler requirements, and Assateague permits OSV on a first-come-first-serve basis (+ permit and whatnot), but I'm not really looking to drive 2/3+ hours out either way or do serious wheeling/pay a bunch of money to get my truck dirty. I kind of just want to go on some dirt/gravel roads with some pretty views like I used to be able to do out in the PNW on logging roads and whatnot. Obviously MD isn't Oregon so I'm not gonna find any scenic mountain logging roads hereabouts, but maybe there's *something* closer to me than the two options we have? Google and forum search-fu have failed me in this endeavor so I figured I'd ask the local folks.

I live about 30-45 minutes south of Annapolis.

Anyone been to E. Trails road in Delta, PA recently? I’ve not seen any posts about it for a few years. Or any good easy trails in NE MD?

Green Ridge state Forest has gravel & dirt mountain roads with views, but its a bit of a ride to Western Maryland. No permits required.

Yeah you pretty much described Green Ridge. Worth the drive if you like camping.

Hello! Welcome to the best damn Tacoma forum on the interwebs and the Kool Kidz thread! :hattip:

Southern Maryland is flat as a pancake, and unless you go across the Bay Bridge and pause in the middle you ain't seeing shit, distance wise. You're gonna have to drive West to get any altitude for views of anything. Then you're just gonna wind up in some forest, looking across some valley at more trees.

Your best bet is to embrace the Shore. Find places to go that takes you right up to the bay, get you a fishing pole or find a pier and get some crab baskets. Now, if you don't mind the drive, Western Maryland and Eastern Central Pennsylvania have some ORV parks. They are very popular and can challenge anyone.

    Here's a pretty good resource

    https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/maryland/scenic-overlooks-md/

Seems like Dans Rock might be the only one you can drive up to though.

    Here's another.

    http://www.find-off-road-trails.com/maryland-trails.html

From what I've seen though, some of the best views, and best times are had at our very own @68dave Dave's place up in West Virginia. It's a lot of hootin' & hollarin' goin' on up there. Trails to ride, guns to shoot, far's to cook over, and sleepin' accommodations too.

We have a couple Maryland thread, and Northern Va. thread guys that live down there where you are. Post up some pics of your truck

    Rob

Welcome to the best damn Tacoma forum on the interwebs and the Kool Kidz thread. :hattip:

I'm about 10 minutes from Delta, but I ain't never heard of E. Trails Road there. There's one a little farther north but after looking at the map I don't think it's the same place. The one I found was near Muddy Creek and a very short road.

Thanks for the welcome! Don’t mind me linking another groups forum but it talkes about the trail. I can’t remember if I’d visited trails rd long ago but the name sounded familiar.
