Good afternoon, MD. Is that a thing around here? You all seem like a tight knit group of guys, it's good to see that!

Heading to York tomorrow morning to hopefully put the Taco to good use. York Barbell is opening up the retail store and I'm hoping to pick up a squat rig, barbell, plates, and some dumbbells.

I’ve got a k&n air filter for a stock 2nd gen intake if anyone wants it. I just washed and cleaned it a month ago. Whoever comes and gets it can have it free (I also accept stickers or anything cool)

    Fellas, i need some help.

We’re working on a 1998 4runner and we need to replace the calipers but the brake lines are siezed. We want to replace the short hardline on the caliper to the hardline on the frame with one soft line. Not a stainless braided one. We want a soft rubber line with brackets.

Anyone have any idea what we need? Or what the length of soft line we would need?

I’m inclined to just replace the regular soft line and make a new hardline but i hate making hard lines.

    Help is appreciated.

Why a soft rubber line? I recently installed 231's on a customer's 4runner and I had the customer order the SS brake hoses for a 1st gen Tacoma from Wheelers Offroad and I installed those with the upgraded banjo bolts that come in the kit. I eliminated those little hard lines & brackets. Just order the SS brake hose kit from Wheelers Offroad and be done with it.

I have the old lines & ss hoses in my toolcart at work. I plan to use the hoses but you can have the hard lines if you want'em.

Because cost savings and he doesn’t want stainless lines on the gront and no stainless lines on the rear...

On a 2000 & older it's just one rubber hose on the rear, my wife's 02 has 2 rubber hoses on the rear. But I understand "cost savings".
