    My rusty old LC has ss brake hoses on the rear and rubber on the front lol, doesn't bother me. But I do have the SS hoses for the front, one of those things on the to-do list.

    This 4runner is rustier than mine with more miles. We’ll just make the hardlines. :(

    The kid isn’t putting $100 worth of SS brake lines on a $500 4runner, not when i didn’t even do them on mine when i did my tundra brakes :oops:

    I replaced the short hard line from the caliper on mine; $25 from the dealer, I think at the end is cheaper to buy it from dealer than buying the kit/tools and all the time

    Fixed the key fob issue!! Turns out it wasn't the remote start at all (however I did fix that atrocious wiring). Turns out that the issue was my dash cam. I recently wired it to always be on, and I guess the GPS in it for recording my speed was causing the interference. Found this after completely dismantling my dash :annoyed:

    made two for $18.

    But there is some bad news....the front is now good, but from sitting, the rear wheel cylinders froze and now none of the rear braking system works. drums are rusted in place as well.
