    Man oh man will the wind ever stop. I only got on the boat to move it further up the creek. The Bay has been very angry since Friday. My nice new motor has a few new beauty marks from getting knocked around in the 30-40 mph North winds Friday night. Yay.

    Seriously, the thought has crossed my mind. They aren't THAT expensive. My main problem is that my slip is so shallow I probably couldn't get it low enough sometimes.

    Could you tie off on the pilings and blow the sediment out with your motor? I know of a guy that has to do this on Saint Leonard creek very couple years.

    The problem with the floating ones is that it gets really rough in my slip with the right wind. Not a problem most of the year, but the fall is typically windy and from the North or Northeast. East and Northeast winds really put a hurting on me. It is easy to move the boat further up the creek, but I made a bad call and didn't move it before Friday. It happens. Nothing a little touch up paint and some polish can't fix.
