Too soon to ask @68dave when the next meetup is? I seriously had such a great time up there and with everyone. Would love to explore around that area some more too with more time.

Also, started looking at tear drop campers today. So I guess I have to keep the truck. LOL.

 

I will tell you this I have been looking around Dave’s cabin for about 3months and the property is selling at a ridiculous speed ,I looked at the 55 acre property 2 lots before the woman listed it and didn’t have a price and we were pretty set on getting at least part if not all but she went way out of my price when she got an agent and listed through them

I was just mentioning that I may host another one sometime late October or early November. The Fall colors should be in full bloom then. But as always like I told ya if you wanna get away & camp you're more than welcomed up anytime. I've had a few TW members shoot me a text to tell me they're going up to camp & shoot during the week to destress lol.

Its crazy! I've been watching real estate sell up there since I bought my place 3 years ago. Usually stuff just sits for months to a year before it would sell. And usually only sell after multiple price drops. I was told because of the roads being so rough and because it's a bunch of rednecks up there racing around on atvs & shooting guns (which is why I bought my place). My cabin was on the market for almost a year. The listing agent told me he showed it a bunch of times but no one was interested because of the roads, half the time people would see the roads and call him to cancel lol. Now as soon as something is listed just days later its Pending, and the prices are highest I've ever seen'em. Not sure what the actual selling prices are but the listing prices are high. I'm thinking people now want solitude because of the unrest & the virus.

 

If you look at the state of society right now, I’m not surprised people want to move out there now.

 

No, he's been off road before. I remember seeing pics of him splashing through some puddles somewhere. I remember a video too. But I am sure he's not been to the cabin yet. And unless you've been to the cabin you haven't been anywhere.

I'll be out of town (and time zone) from Oct 15th ish through Nov 15th ish so I suppose I'll have to hokd out for the winter meetup

 

You missed a great time last weekend. As always I post a invite on this thread so hopefully you can make the next one, just keep a eye out for my invite.
