It’s very thin on those lca mounts. Just got the marlin crawler gussets welded in to beef it up a bit

 

Welp, messed it up. While sanding it, I decided to try out the weathered look. I like it but might redo it. Thoughts?

As I mention I let 2 buddies hunt my property that's loaded with deer. First time and last time I let anyone hunt my property. I let them use my heated camper that's set up on my property, I left them a crockpot full of homemade chili, cornbread, fridge of beer, dvd's and I let them use my deerstands. Only thing I asked from them is to not leave anything behind on my property because my dog roams the property when im there and I don't want her getting into deer guts. Sure enough, wife & I are outside Christmas decorating here comes my dog walking up to us with a deer stomach & intestines hanging out of her mouth. She ate some as I was pulling her jaws apart so I could pull it out. Then I immediately call them both (if I was in Baltimore I would've drove to their houses & confronted them face to face. I prefer face to face confrontations). The one guy admitted to it and apologized, the other continued to lie which pissed me off more. End of rant, thanks for reading.

 

oh damn that sucks... sorry to hear that your friend screwed you over like that. Not to boot that one tells you they did it and the other one denies it. At least they could’ve done was dug a 3x3ft hole underneath the deer before they processed it to bury it.

 

It's hard to dig up here on the mountain, rocky with alot of roots. All they had to do is dump it off of my property. Alot of hawks, coyotes ect... here that wouldve ate it.

 

Happy (belated) thanksgiving all! Just returned from a 4 day trip camping @ Dolly Sods wilderness in WV. Got a good 6 mile hike in, had coyotes 40 yards from our tent at night, 20° temps with a crazy moon ring, strong wind, some good wheeling and some of the best tacos in Thomas WV that I’ve ever had. An overall great trip. Can’t wait to get our camper (although the gazelle was great too) Also saw this beauty.

 

Also, totally in for the OV tune!

 

For OV tune, would I need to be concerned going into the dealership for service, TSB or recall? I’m interested too but do need the fuel pump and need to check if I can get the ECM reprogrammed TSB.

I know I should do oil changes myself but free is only bad when they screw something up...

Yeah they could Of at least did that for you After you gave him a free place to hunt.

 

@68dave I would be hot too, that’s not rite of them especially after you specifically asked them not to leave anything.

 

What area are you in? Found a guy local here around the Crownsville and Annapolis area that can do it. He said if I can get at least three or four guys we can get the price down. PM me if you’re interested
