$80-$90k dollar Landcruiser lol. Or a sequoia...but you can't beat the mpg's of those ford EcoBoost.

 

I just started watching this overlanding show on Amazon. Of course they're using a Yota.

And they there's the Tundra that's getting torn apart in all the new truck reviews because it hasn't changed in like 10 years. Despite all the criticism it will probably hold its value pretty good.

 

Those tundras are known to hit million miles.

A late model used Tundra with over 100 thousand miles is 25 ,30 grand . So yeah they hold there value .I’ve been looking for a while now

 

When I was looking at trucks I looked at the Tundras, but ended up getting my Tacoma simply because of how poor the Tundra's gas mileage was/is. Not that the Tacoma gets great mileage, but the Tundras was so low compared to the other full size trucks and I wasn't going to buy a Ford/Chevy and Dodge was never even in the running. Toyota does a lot of things really great, but I'd love to see an updated Tundra with a more efficient engine.

 

I might go look at a 2017 Tundra with high miles on this weekend .

 

I had a Tundra Rock Warrior- but as @JHCJ700 said, the mileage was turrible. I only got it because (at the time) it was cheaper than a used Tacoma. But, dealing with the title transfer from Delaware to MD was so terrible, the truck had to sit in my driveway, unused, for almost a year. I traded it and a VW in on my Tacoma when I found the right one.

 

For me gas mileage isn’t a concern I average less the a hundred miles a week on all my personal vehicles right now but my company truck is 400 plus miles with a average of 12 miles per gallon .

 

@68dave We’re going up Sunday to look at some land around Fort Ashby ,right now seems your area of WVa land is going to fast and prices are climbing. I’m looking at 20 plus acre lots to build on in the future anything with a livable cabin/house is out of our range without taking a loan and not trying to do that until ready to build.

 

Hey fellas I'm wondering if any of you have a place in MD and then another property with a lot of land to do your outdoor activities? I've been talking with my brother about purchasing a place either in WV, VA, or Western MD that has 100+ acres. Just seeing if any of my fellow taco fam has a similar setup
