I still love this old girl  I’m actually glad I get to give her some more TLC when the weather breaks.

Trying to decide if I want to spend the money on nice silicone rad hoses that will outlive the rest of the truck (like i put on my tacoma) or just put another cheap set on like the previous owner did. I feel like i’ll ultimately end up doing right by this thing, so far i’ve put a decent amount of good parts on it, in hopes to make it last as long as possible, whether that be for me, or for the next guy :anonymous:

Think that deep pot hole knocked my camber out?... steering wheel is off centered as well. The SPC UCA ball joint slid inwards during the hit. Gotta make sure I torque it moar next time.

Definitely going to need too. Good thing I got the lifetime alignment from Firestone

I’ll also take this chance to drop the lift about .5” to try and get rid of a little stiffness in the ride from the E rated tires.

@Majora, how’d the suspension treat you on the trip? Looks like you guys had a blast.

Working well! Pretty stiff but not bad at all. Much better after I had U-bolts made to fit it. Still a little nervous about the shocks. Might get different rear shocks

I agree it’s a little stiff and my ST Maxx don’t help that. Maybe lowering it and a hood alignment with the SPCs will help. Still playing with the psi as well. 40 might have felt a little better than 35 but I need to drive more to test.
What about the rears make you nervous?

Hey all, to those living in the Hampstead/Manchester/Millers area be alert, there is an ongoing issue with colorful polywood furniture being stolen from porches and patios, particularly in Manchester. Typically in broad daylight on Saturdays. They hit my brother's house today between 10 and 2 for a red and black Adirondack chair.

Would rather be posting about Tacos but..

Damn! I've got a $450 Amish built polywood glider on my back porch at my house in dundalk. It's been sitting there for the past 4 years but now Im thinking I should put it in my garage. Can't have nothing nowadays.

I went with OE hoses when I did my TB, new tension clamps and all. I also did the oil cooler hoses, they were a bitch to get to, but they were rock hard and cracked. I don't know how they didn't leak

    F'n crack heads...

I replaced the oil cooler hoses on my Tacoma when I did the motor swap, along with just about every other wearable item. You just reminded me that I need to replace them on my 4runner.
