I absolutely HAVE to get my truck tinted this year. I’ve been talking myself out of it for 5 years now.

It just seems that no one ever has good recommendations for access cabs

 

I think I’ll be driving more this year than last year so needed it.

Someone has to have a good recommendation for you. Though, those half door windows are probably not easy to tint. If I remember right, they are a lot bigger than the opening on the inside, right?

 

Yes and its my understanding that sometimes if you tint them too dark, they look weird from the outside

I also highly recommwnd one of those matte black stickers in the center of your hood. I haven't gotten one yet, but driving westward around sunset and having the sun reflected off my hood has certainly inspired it

 

I can try to get some better pics tomorrow. I know my tint is peeling on the inside back doors, because I didnt prep it. But the whole package only cost me ~$100, so Im not too worried

 

Does anyone here shop at BassPro Shop? I have a $100 gift card Im not going to use that I would like to get $70 for.

 

i plan on doing 20% or 15% on all the windows and maybe doing the windshield when it gets a little closer to summer. never had my windshield done before so not sure if i actually will need to until i actually get my truck.

You'd be surprised how well a quality clear film on the windshield reacts to light. During the day, my Lexus is a joy to drive into the sun. At night though, the zero glare from oncoming traffic is incredible.

 

Ohhhhh, that might be worth the extra dough... well I have a few days to think about it. I had not even thought about that.

Even though I rarely drive at night right now...

 

That’s not a bad idea either. The midnight black metallic is pretty shiny and reflective when clean and waxed.

Well, you'd be surprised how much darker the sides look with just 70 on the windshield.

 

So many different things to look into. I’ll do a bit more research this weekend.

Also ordered that new Turtle Wax Ceramic & graphene wax to give it a go.

 

Still got a $100 one myself from LAST Christmas lol! Also Cabellas takes them now as well if you need anything from there.

 

Anyone use the Hipcamp app? It’s like Airbnb...for camp spots. It’s pretty sick!
