Install was pretty easy and straight forward. The only reason to Jack the truck is to take the tires off. With the right extensions you can probably get away with leaving them on. It definitely feels like it’s better back there but I’ve not gone over the normal speed bumps or routes. I’m going to put caulk or something that will transfer between the two surfaces to see if they touch during normal driving. I should see those soon. It’s a shame there are no legal places I can go that are really close by.

I also did this for the flip kit and that there was only .5-1 thread showing on the old Ubolts after I put an axle shim in.

I've been driving my 4runner since 2013 and up to the mountains and back every weekend for the past 4 years with my Toytec lift and so far so good. Toytec on my Tacoma too and I've towed my camper all over the country with it. Greengen must be racing up & down Low Line lol.

Before, just openings, and an old ass deck in need of refinishing bad.

    upload_2021-3-22_16-6-25.jpg

    Time to fix that.

After 20 minutes, new self closing and locking gates, and an old ass deck in need of refinishing really bad.

    upload_2021-3-22_16-12-33.jpg
    upload_2021-3-22_16-14-28.jpg

Before the gates she was attached by her leash to a steel coated cable I have strung out there from one end to the other. She could go on both side of the deck. But we had to make sure her harness and leash were on, then take her out and attach it, bla bla bla. Now we can just open the back door and she can come and go for fresh air anytime she wants to no matter of how she's dressed. And now when her boyfriends wonder down from up on the hill, they can hang out with her on the deck, safely.

I made both gates higher than the railing on purpose. I felt like the railing is a little low and I want to increase the height. I am going to buy or build planter boxes and put them on top of the railing. I'll plant some herbs and hot peppers. I think they'll be cheaper and look nicer than anything else I could do as quickly. I feel like if she see's a deer, squirrel or rabbit, that low railing won't stop her.

The bench by the railing is a easy way for her to get over but it's temporary and will be moved out to a spot in the yard in 43 minutes. We have another one on the deck around the corner but it's against the wall so no worries there.

Next will be to install the 200' trolley system out back. I need to cut some trees down and do a lot of clean up where that tree fell, so I might string it up out front first, then move it. Or get another one for out back.

I'm also eyeballin' where I can create a trail on my property to fit Tacos. I'm working on a way to create an entrance that doesn't look very obvious or cause erosion runoff that goes down to the common drive and make a mess.

So yea, sorry for the absence. I have a new Mistress that keeps me very busy, planning to-do lists and actually following through with them. :fistbump:

'Evening fellers! A call to Jerrys Toyotee for a price on a new bumper.. my cost $288 for just the stamped/painted piece and the side rails, start adding in the plastic trim and the reinforcement bar, it's getting expensive quick. I looked briefly at some aftermarket 'OE quality replacement' :jerkoff:
bumpers, too crappy on the quality ( plus a call to a buddy that owns a body shop, to get his opinion on which bumper to buy, confirmed that I wouldn't be happy with the non OEM parts), so now do I look at basic plate steel aftermarket bumpers?

I have no desire to have a plate bumper that forces me to ditch my new hitch and I don't need an 'over lander' bumper, any suggestions on a specific brand to look at?
