When I went to the Firestone in Hickory they told me they couldn't do the alignment out of spec. With larger tires you almost need to increase the caster and they wouldn't touch it.

That's what I'm thinking. I can have them mount the tires at the same time and align with those

I had them do mine last week… I guess it depends who you get there. Though, I increased mine myself before I took it and told them to leave it alone lol.

Karen at Jones Junction will help out with out of spec alignments.

Edited to add the alignment sheet

Went to 3 liquor stores this morning looking for Loco Nut leftovers since it’s been discontinued. The Brinkley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Cream is good that I bought last week . Only thing I could find today was this stuff .

Here's what Forest Hill Automotive did for me and why I decided not to ever go back to them. They dialed in the camber and toe but look at the caster. Yes, the truck drove perfectly and I had no rubbing, at first, but as the suspension began to settle after a while the drivers side started to rub at full lock, in reverse. Next time I am going to need to go to a place willing to listen to what I say and able produce the results I want.

I think I read that is a good one. I tell ya, I have been adding this Bailey's to my second cup of coffee on the weekends and I like it a lot!

    upload_2021-6-14_14-27-51.jpg

It's a limited edition blend too. I didn't know Bailey's had so many Creme liquors! I want to try a couple more.

Technically because the new suspension in the rear will pitch the front forward and make the ass end higher, you should wait to do the alignment until all the new parts are on.

HOWEVER, you can get the front squared away now, put the rear on, and then get it checked out a couple hundred miles after the rear has been on and everything has settled in its place. Thats probably what I would do.

Really good idea. What I may end up doing is just using my phone's angle finder to get the camber close to 0 degrees until I get the rear on. Luckily my commute to work is less than 10 miles round trip. Just sucks that I have a bunch of projects dependent on each other and outside obligations that depend on me lol

Just dont wear your tires funny or let it pull you to one side or the other lol

I always do a “toe plate alignment” on everything before i take it to the alignment shop and my alignment guy always raves about how close everything always is :anonymous:

Adonis, uh, I mean John was trying to make me feel good by saying he is curvaceous like me. The really scary part though Big R, I am not sure how he knows that

Oh, and FYI, this is one of your pages. o_O

I’m slightly enebreated and totally in denial.

I have a victory to report (thus the victory drinks). Today, Verizon gave me a $99.00 credit. It took several weeks and 3 phone calls. Persistence. Don’t mess with an old man who has nothing better to do than to sit on the phone, suffer through the transfers, callbacks and holds.

Since we were hammering out the “wave”, I figured I’d throw that out there. If you see a fat guy with a beard, wave at him. There’s a good chance he’s me or another member of this group.

Sure, make those of us without beards or are thin feel like outsiders. Sheesh, I expected more. So sad.
