Well you may want to bring your chainsaw with you this weekend. It’s better to Have and not need then need and not have. If it would not have been for a guy in our group with a battery powered saw saw we would’ve been screwed.

 

I actually have a STIHL with a 20" bar, I just have to take some time to put it back together. I could bring it with, if I get time to assemble it and pick up a chain guard

 

I’ll bring MY STIHL too, and it has a 30” bar…mostly to make up for my biological inadequacies…

 

It never hurts to have one on hand in the case it’s needed. I’m a three strike kind of guy. Didnt buy my GMRS radio till I needed the third time. Didn’t get skids till the third time as well. Hopefully I’ll be to picking those up before Friday.
So far I’ve only needed a saw once at this point. The group of 8 I was in at the Jambo 2 guys had A battery saws. And there were a hand full of guys at the campgrounds that had one also. They said they only use it on the trail to clear the trail way. They also said it pays for itself the first time you have to break it out. This is my next purchase for my truck. This thing is ridiculous!!

That’s really what I’ll be bringing, I love my other chainsaws, but prefer not to haul mixed fuel and regular fuel. The little Dewalt is bad ass and I use it around my yard all the time. My STIHL and husqy get used on big trees I harvest on my VA property.
Tomorrow I’ll be mounting skids, sliders, and air intake…it’s gonna be a Tylenol kinda night afterwards!

 

I’ll still have no armor on mine but to OR skid … maybe I should get some rather than things that look nice on the truck like a scooped hood and headlights (in line to buy headlights if another sale falls through)

 

I saw you on that meso thread. I was going to post but saw there was already enough takers ahead of me before I saw it.

 

I should have jumped on it right away instead of looking for reviews… not that I need them by any means… they just look much better than the OEM projectors

 

You just need to get a Suburban, then the cooler would be too small for the rear cargo area!

Down pours and thunderstorms today in east central NY where I’m located . This will put us up around 12” of rain .Sump pump working OT . It’s like living in Seattle

My garden is drowning
Lawn is like walking on a soaking wet sponge

 

Oof. I built mine as a raised bed with about 3" of gravel at the bottom to aid in drainage in case of deluge. It's been wet here, but not that bad

 

Later today will put us over 12” of rain this month
