Morning all! I'm looking at doing a couple's offroading weekend at AOAA either the 14th or 28th of August. Planning to get a campsite and make a weekend of it with the ol' lady. Anyone else feel like joining? If so, is there a weekend preference?

Also, anyone who's camped there before, do they have portapotties, or is it bag-out?

I have their SS3 foglights on the truck; I haven't had any issues with them. Can't provide any insight on the light bar though, sorry.

Well I don't work for DD directly so if you want to work with me you'd have to cancel that one.

Aside from that... I can answer all of your questions and help ya out.

Anyone looking for a trailer? For 250 it might me too good to be true but I’m not sure of trailer pricing…. 22D55FB0-7AB2-4997-8BB1-2B311EA19FAB.jpg

Haven’t camped there at AOAA, but have camped at mossy point for the Jambo last month. It’s about 25mins away from AOAA. There were about 30 of us that stayed there and we had a blast. It’s all in the woods and shaded pretty well. There is a bath shed and pooper on the spots, running water and electric at most of the sites.

I haven’t been there yet, but I heard from a lot of others that have been say it’s pretty damn rocky there.

That was my concern - I feel like it's more for rock crawling with a rig than offroading

That being said some other people said that the greens aren’t that bad. I would ask that question in the Hilux group a lot of those guys go there.

Howdy everyone, haven’t posted in a while but hope you’re all doing well.
Bad news about two weeks ago I was filling up and forgot my gas cap and ran it over. Thought no big deal, will replace tomorrow as I was heading to Philly for a baseball game.
Well it rained that evening and I got water in the tank, drive 20 minutes and she started sputtering pretty bad. Got it towed back to Baltimore for $160, got the tank dropped and cleaned and compression test to make sure everything was good.
Fried one coil so had to replace that and did a tube up with all new spark plugs and everything. Ended up being a random $2000 expense so that sucks but she’s running better than ever!

    Work in progress.
It could have been worse. It sucks it happened, but, I'm glad you got it sorted and you're good to go. I have an extra, new gas cap... lol... too soon?
