    Morning y'all...

So, I don't want to point out that fact that summer is quickly coming to an end. (But going to anyway lol) I had mentioned doing the under coating for the up coming salt season and seemed to be some interest in it.

Figured it would be a good idea to get the ball rolling early. I'm going to definitely coat my truck regardless and have no problem helping anyone else with coating their truck. Although I've never coated before.

I have some tarps to cover the ground under the truck. Just need to figure out a spot to do it. I own a condo and my parking lot wouldn't be an option.

    Post up if interested

Is it a seasonal application, or is it the same undercoat Toyota does for that servuce bulletin, frame rust?

    Morning all
Id like to but I won’t be able to make it this weekend or next.

Interested as well. Are you planning Woolwax or fluid film? I was going to do mine with Woolwax again this year. I liked the stuff.
I think we joked about using @Taco critter s place… I had looked into getting all the stuff for mass applications but that’s as far as I got…

What are your thoughts on the woolwax? I used fluid film last fall and it seemed to hold up well even with regularly rinsing the undercarriage. The smell lingered around until early-mid summer though. Curious is woolwax is the same.

I liked the Woolwax, it only had a smell for a few weeks but it was not strong. Sprays on thick and seemed to last. There was still coating on there even with regular washes I also liked that they have a black color option for it.

Thanks. That may be the route I go this time, though I liked being able to grab fluid film from the store instead of buying online.

I live right across the street from a small elementary school with a parking lot that would be perfect for this. We could prolly get 20 trucks in it and no one is there over the weekend…I’ll bring a cooler with choice beverages if ya’ll are interested…

Ditch light brackets are in, low profile light bar mounts are on their way (victory sent them for free, they were supposed to be with the rack when I bought it…). I figured out my wiring issue as well…seems like this is actually coming together! I’m happier than a fat kid farting in the bath-tub!

So I had Koons of Westminster pickup my Tundra to finally repair an item that was promised at purchase and I told them to change the oil while they have since I’m only a few hundred miles from the time to change it ,they called back and said they wouldn’t change it until I reach the full 5k since last service I thought that was strange them refusing to change it when I’m like 3-4hundred shy of a full 5k and I’ll hit that in 2 trips to my place In WVa so by next weekend .
