Me and my buddy will probably be there about 7 maybe a little before. What we’ll do is will park the furthest away so we can all lineup next to each other. That is unless somebody else gets there before we do.

Looks like y'all had fun! Beorn couldn't make it, apparently Elkton and Elkridge sound very similar, and are very far apart lol. Bobby came up and his needed drilling. I had some titanium bits, but it ended up requiring a trip to Home Depot for new cobalt bits. But, the goos news is half of his passenger slider is drilled and on haha. We'll be finishing it on another full day.

Good morning team! On this past weekends adventure, took a trip to sleepy creek where the horse flies were so bad and so large they just about carried me away. So ditched that place and headed to classic old green ridge. Drove through a gnarly storm in Berkeley springs with flooded streets, high winds and saw lightning strike a telephone pole about 30 yards from me, it was wild!

Finally made it to GR. Picked a site that I had never stayed at before (because why not switch it up sometimes).Took the route I thought best to get there and came across a 4’ deep washout (picture taken after I filled it in most the way) that lead down to a 80’ drop off down the mountain. I got the truck past but the camper was heading straight for the wash out. I could not get closer to the rock wall nor was there anything to winch too on that side of the road. So I spent about an hour shoveling dirt and shale into the wash out till it was mostly full enough to use my traction boards to bridge the gap. Made it across, full pucker factor for sure! lol. Overall it was a blast though. Love having to think outside the box to overcome obstacles.

That looks like a blast! I tried looking it up before, is that the driving tour trail? Or is it something different? I couldn't find much about offroading on their site

So there’s definitely seems to be a lot of off-roading trails there. I noticed some open trails as well as some that appeared to have some newly installed red gates. I didn’t do much exploring around but I’m sure you could head there and definitely find something to get into. They seems fairly tight (Jeep size) so I didn’t bother getting off the main drags since I had the camper attached.

I explored Sleepy Creek last Fall, it's not far from my cabin. Lots of trails/gravel roads. Lakeside primitive camping and from what I've been hearing from the WV locals great fishing there. It's 23k acres. My neighbor next door to me here in Baltimore bought a secluded 5acre lot last year that backs up to Sleepy Creek for $7500 bucks! The sellers just wanted what they paid for it back in 1977. I thought he was bs'ing me so I had to look it up lol.
