My wife veto’d the snorkel after I told her I would need to cut the fender. I let her win for now since I’m low-key thinking of trading in the ‘20 for a ‘22 with better packages, led headlights and the moonroof. For now tho, I’m thinking of the Amazon TRD skid.

 

I've heard the 20 is pretty solid now the first few years they had to work out kinks. I do miss my moon roof.

 

It’s a great truck, just a few regrets of what it didn’t come with and seeing that it might be possible to get those without having to pay more. Just would have to take effort and go to a dealership lol.

 

I know in general they, 16's are more money than 17's in the same flavors but not by much. I was unaware they were hard to get. I always run the OEM size. I had 17's on my Tundra/4RT/Sport.

I think whenbyou change OEM sizes and go outta spec in any dimension though, then I think you might have issues.

With all that said, I like the extra sidewall without the mods that come with a "too tall" tire on a 16" wheel too. As long as you stay within +/- 2" of OEM your computer and such will readjust. If you want to air down to 10psi or less you'll appreciate that extra sidewall though. I also think they make shorter, skinnier tires appear taller. On the stock Pro suspension, another 1.5" of lift would be the sweet spot for the 33's.

I wonder how those Patagonia tires would look on a Overland Trailer?

I saw El Diablo aka @Tonymontana and his Hombre one day a couple of weeks ago while I was working down by the Bay Bridge. Using my truck.

They were on 50 headin' east to th' sho'. He had some firewood strapped to the top. I assumed it might be Tony's girlfriend at first but she needed a shave.

I didn't know it was that stud muffin that has the stamina of a stallion ( right Brian @GreengoTaco ), and his 4Runner had an extremely powerful and masculine look to it with all that wood on board.

Should I call him? And if Yes, what? Call him what?

Time to drill holes.

 

I was looking at the leather with heated seats, 360 cameras, moonroof, led headlights and I think there was a few other upgrades that go along with it.
I know I can do most of those myself, and have already added a front camera and heated seats (just not leather) but those other upgrades are really too expensive to deal with, though they can be done.
Just daydreaming about it lol. I don’t think I’d want to change the suspension, odd and ends back to stock just to put them on a new truck either. That’s a lot of work.
