My hitch is behind my license plate. I have shackles on my bumper so I don't really need it just keep it with me for the extra shackle

 

You could keep the shackle, i just want the mout i already have one to go in it. I'd love to have it. I'd pay for it, i don't expect you to give it away

Since you have a black truck, Notice any difference in the heat of the interior in the summer post vs. pre tint?

 

With a black truck that has a black leather interior, I could have tinted them with asbestos and it still would not make any difference.

 

Should've gone with indigo ink....and not had so many doors!!!

I am getting ready to try a new type of sealant this spring on the Tacoma.

I have a friend that has a MB with a flat paint and wants it protected. Figured I would try it on the Tacoma first.

 

Sealant? You mean wax? I use Mother's Cleaner wax with carnuba.

 

Sore of a sealant on steroids. It is a Ceramic Nano Coating that works well with the new generation of flat paints offered by some manufactures.

FWIW IMHO Mothers makes the best OTC products you can buy. I like them better than Megs OTC products. All other OTC products are a step below Mothers and Megs.

For lack of a better definition it is. Prior to applying the product you still need to have a clean swirl free paint which requires buffing.

For the flat paint type finishes the c quarts product will fill in light swirl marks in the coating on top of the paint color. Rather than a clear coat the flat paint color cars use a matte finish clear coat so polishing it is sort of useless. That's why I would use two coats of the product.

 

I'll stick to cleaner wax for now. only buffed my truck twice since i got it, have to buff the tailgate once a year because of the stupid cap rubber.

 

I'm late to the party but AR the back is close to 20% my friend did his front two at 20% and left the back alone. Looks good don't know the price was back in 09. I did all my windows at 20% it was around $235 in 12

 

So I changed out my air filter, and still have crappy mpg I'm changing the plugs tomorrow and cleaning the TB anyone else have a scan guage or anything noticing a drop in mpg? Mine went from an average of 20.3 to 17.1

 

Mine went from 15.8 to 14.5 (all city) just because of winter blend.

Yea i was thinking they switched over to summer blend already? But I don't know it's just frustrating.
