I just use these.. They work great. My toolbox is held in with them, and I've got two more with 3/8" eye bolts that I use for tie downs.

3/8" extruded speed nuts. Got them for $1.10 a pop from True Value. Probably even cheaper if you buy a box directly from Hillman.

I'm getting new tires in a few months and trying to decide between BFG km2s and nitto trail grapplers. I'm leaning towards the km2s any experience or advice would be appreciated!

I had the terra's in 295/75r16 and now have the trail grappler in 35x12.5x17
They are heavy duty and wear very well.
I just bought a matching 5th as a spare today. Pretty expensive in this size but they'll last.

I've got Homers old Terra's and the tread is almost the same as a 2 month old pair on a buddy's 150. About how many miles did you put on these Homer? I haven't gotten to wheel them a whole lot yet but they impressed me in the little bit of mud I found.

You absolutely would not. I drove like an absolute asshole on my last set of tires and am 5x more conservative now with these babies. The mpg needle is starting to creeeeeep up. Still no where it should be though.

This summer i'll be going for the best i can do. I'll be doing my brakes with in the next week or so(EBC stage 5 :D ), and i'll be servicing my diffs, tranny, and tcase which will all be switched to synthetic. Those two things should really help. My brakes are so shitty right now, i've been downshifting/engine braking for like the last 5k miles lol.

At some point i'd also like to switch to a lighter wheel. The one i'm looking at is 18lbs....my stock steel wheels are 29lbs. If i went with that lighter wheel, i'd drop 11lbs per corner and thus have less rolling resistance

I would probably make a "Zak is my Hero" sticker and install it on my vehicle.

But i'm not going to be cool enough to wheel for a few years
