Okay second question has anyone had ANY LUCK painting stuff yourself? I tried doing that with the sliders but the rust came through the rust inhibitor, the primer, and the bed liner spray from Rustolium

I usually use 400 sand paper and regular rustoleum and never had nay issues. I plan to do the same to my sliders when I get this coating off of them.

There's a powder coated in Waldorf he also does hydro dipping and I usally get a wire wheel on a drill and scuff the metal to bare metal wipe it with alcohol then prime and paint usally works for me I've never had any of my stuff rust on me. I'm thinking about painting my sliders becaise rust is coming thru the powder coat on my bamf sliders just don't know how it's gonna hold up on the powder coat.

That's the whole reason I was looking to get a place to PC it for me because the rust came through my DIY job.

Yea man idk if it's bad prep work or what but if there's rust under stuff it's just a matter of time before it comes thru anything you paint or apply over it. Spent the last 3 hours prepping my truck for this winch install and made a fuse breaker panel and I'm taking my time to prep that right before paint just so it doesn't look like crap in a few months. Just paint it yourself man just take some time to prep it or go to a powder coated that warranties his work lol.

I have taken the Doug Thorley ypipe off my truck. Between the long tube headers not having any cats and the glass pack on the rear, adding the ypipe is just a bit much. Before I put it up for sale/ trade. I am offering it to you guys first. I paid $300 before shipping and it has +/- 100 miles on it. I think it sounds good by itself but after I added the headers it was just too loud.

i wouldn't waste your time with powder coat on sliders, the first time you drag them on something it will just scrape right off, but for the tire carrier i only know of the places AR mentioned. ill ask my dad when he gets home, he might know a few others.

What's funny, is that she just left her job at Disney 2 weeks ago...... performed primarily in the Beauty and the Beast shows.
