Yep, can't go wrong with a Honda. I'm riding it now here on my property. I forgot how much fun a clutch is on a atv.

 

When I swapped out the worn front struts on my Taco I had some fully assembled TRD OR struts to go in their place. I dropped the skid plate and the sway bar and links and that was all that I needed for room to swing the strut assembly out from the truck. I had the tires off the ground and the jack stands under the frame, leaving the floor jack to push up on the control arm if needed. Nothing else had to be disassembled.

So just a random thing to list, but figured why not…

Selling my sons Yamaha Raptor 80. It’s in all but mint condition, only ridden in the neighborhood and on the farm. Has smaller race tires, not those stock balloons. About 90% fresh tread. Full stainless FMF exhaust. BigGun CDI ignition box. GYTR rejet carb kit. Air box governor removed, as well an UNI lid vents. Fly Racing bars with ProTaper grips. LED 6” light bar. No cracks or tears in plastics or seat. Looking for around $1,800. Clean title and original manual.

Morning all. @Taco1004 what year is that ATV?

 

I believe it’s either an 06 or 08. It’s one of the last years before the Raptor 90 junk came out. This has no clutch, but a 3 speed manual foot shift. And is a real Yamaha Japan motor. When they switched to the 90, they made the transmission fully automatic and put a China motor on them. We are the second owner of it, and bought it about 7 years ago. It’s always garage kept, regular maintenance, battery is fresh and always on a tender. Runs like a dream, and tons of fun for the adults too. The mods really woke up the motor. Tons of fun for the whole family!

 

That was a fun 3.5 hours. 6112/5160 kit is installed. Learned some things along the way but it's done. Rides really well, I am very happy with it so far. I have an alignment scheduled Tuesday morning so I am taking my daughters car to work tomorrow. My friend Chris came over in his 66 pickup and helped me with the front which made things easier.

 

@Taco1004 did you say you wanted my old spacers?

Thanks, I didnt realize how much of a difference it feels compared to stock suspension. Its going to look even better with 4runner rims and 285's.
