Good afternoon folks! Long time lurker but just punched the ticket on making an account. I noticed some posts regarding Green Ridge and I'm looking to get out that way this weekend.

Crap.. FWIW, that wasn't my intention.

I think that it looks great! Can you give a brief explanation of what 'paint correction' means? I honestly have no idea.

Sure thing, just using a random orbital buffer to fix the paint issues through buff and polish. It can get rid of small scratches and swirl marks. I didn’t try too hard with this as I didn’t want to mess my paint up but I was able to get out a number of micro scratches and swirl marks. I should have taken some before and after pics of that.

I was hoping you would say that! I might bother you to meet up at some point in the near future so I can take a look at them. I have a huge trip coming up next month and after that I’m going to go up a tire size. Hopefully for the last time. I don’t wanna change my set up right before a big adventure.

I’ve been agonizing between the 255/85/16 ST Maxx’s and a 285 all terrain (probably the Cooper XLTs).

I’m just concerned that I wouldn’t like the look of the skinny’s but I’ve never seen a set in person.

I hear you on that one. Im not sure why I went with 255 over 285 but think they look good on the truck.
Happy to meet up too. Where are you at again?

Yeah I’m really struggling with the decision. I feel like the pros and cons are almost equal, and both those coopers have phenomenal reviews.

    I’m near Frederick.

Ahh ok, so not too far, maybe meet in Westminster unless I can make the a coffee and Toyota meet up.

Yea, I think it really comes down to if you like the slightly wider tire

Yeah Westminster isn’t too bad for me. I’ll let ya know when I have some free time, I’m pretty busy for the next few weeks.

I’ve been leaning heavily towards the 285’s but who knows what I’ll wind up with lol
