My trucks stay in 4wd unless I have to make a run down into town. I exercise my Elockers once a month tho. My beater taco has 496k miles and no issues with the 4x4 or the Elocker.

They let me back in here... Hey all! Been busy as hell the last year or so since I've been on here.

Got my 92 rm125 built and running, 400ex is still going strong even though I haven't ridden either in like two months.

Tacoma had a CEL for upstream O2 sensor and am battling that now. Sensor studs are corroded and the handle on my die kit will not clear the opposite stud when trying to ground down threads for the other stud. About ready to take a fresh nut and wrench it down as easy as I can so I can clear the codes and see if it was the O2 sensor that went bad. P0130 and P0133 codes. If I mess up the sensor mounting studs on the exhaust pipe, I'm pretty sure I'm just going to get an entirely new exhaust from header back, so I am open to less expensive, but correct options for exhausts.


Another note, got a fresh citation for passing on the shoulder on my motorcycle in Kent Narrows this weekend coming back from OC. $200 total, avoiding marked signage, and unsafe passing on right, and a warning for Negligence, supposedly cause I didn't see the cop when he was pulling me over.

update: so the garage owner told me to come by at 10 am and he would take a look. I show up at 9:45 and he tells me the other tech called in sick. He asked me what I checked and I told him. He said “you seem like you know what you’re doing” (I don’t) “go on ahead and use Jays lift and take a look”. I have never heard of a garage owner doing this. Anyhow, I put it up on Jays lift and used Jays impact gun and torque wrench (Jay shouldn’t have called in sick) and checked the wheel 9/3 and 12/6, pulled the front wheels, torqued the spacers, checked the ball joints, sway bar, transmission mount, springs, control arms, tie rod ends, pulled and pushed on everything, checked exhaust hangers, skid plate, sliders, shock mounts and everything looks/feels good. I torqued the wheels back, lowered the lift, cleaned Jays tools and thanked the owner. Asked him what I owed him and he told me I didn’t owe him anything because he didn’t do any work. I gave him $40 and will worry about it when I get home Sunday afternoon.

That was cool of him to allow you to use the shop like that, and Jay's tools lol. Use a small prybar or large screwdriver to pry up & down on the sway bar at the sway bar end links to check for faulty end links. You will feel the play if there is any.
