    Morning all!

Defiantly a bad evening in Westminster. We were able to get power restored around 2:30 this morning. Thank you to all the men and women out working to help with damage and getting power on!!

Last week a storm hit at work. Bunch of trees down. I wish I took a photo of one that had it fallen the wrong way would have taken out a house. We got 1" of rain in 45 minutes a high winds. One of the neighbors said they thought there was a tornado but can't confirm. But most of the damage was in a certain area of the club and kinda followed a line of sorts.

Speaking of tornados…yesterday I saw clouds above my house that were swirling upwards. I’ve never seen anything like that before and I 100% thought a tornado was going to happen. No idea if those two things are related lol but it sure looked like the end of the world.

I think I’m just done if I get hit with a tornado. Earthquakes, hurricanes, dust storms, but no tornado yet (and I just doomed myself)

I think we’ve had a couple “earthquakes” here in the last 10-15 years. I had to evacuate from Hatteras Island one year because of a hurricane. That’s the extent of my crazy weather experience

    East coast earthquakes are tame

If you have never experienced a 7+, I highly recommend against it. 10/10 would not do again

Sorry to hear about the grill… but glad that was the extent of the damage! We got fairly lucky as well, mainly just some down branches and debris. But on the bright side, now you can start grill shopping… maybe a new BlackStone? If you’ve ever thought about it, do it! I pulled the trigger on one about a year ago and absolutely love it! Never get another “normal” grill again.

No damage here on the mountain. I was in Martinsburg WV and drove home in the storm. This pic was taken in Martinsburg and posted on a WV weather fb page.

It's beautiful out today tho, breezy & cool. Pup & I took a hour hike here on the property this morning. Weather could stay like this all of August and I would be fine with it.

This could be what happened. Not sure how big the line of storms have to be. Speaking of earthquakes when I lived in Irvine Ca I think it was a 3 or 4 hit and I'm at work watching the ground roll right in front of the building I'm in. I look over at my coworker and say what do I do lol.

Those are nice, no doubt about it. They're just a bit more then I can spend on a grill. I might have to patch this one back together, temporarily. I have a ton of other peoples tree debris to clean out of my yard. I went north of Manchester (towards Genovas) to get a snowball on the way home, it looks like a 'nader touched down in that area. A lot of damage/broken trees everywhere. There is no power north of my 'hood.

Yea, a guy from my work is in the south side of town and to my knowledge, still has no power either. As for the grill, I was in the same boat… but Home Depot has 12 months 0% if you put it on a HD charge card. Plus they gave me like 15% off for my first purchase. I couldn’t pass it up. If not for that, I wouldn’t have bought one either, lol!
