I was looking at their full rear seat delete a while ago…I might do it down the road because we take our dogs everywhere with us and that would make trips way easier.

I'm looking to hot up @Diode Dynamics and finally pull the trigger on the undercarriage LED strip lights with controller, and the footwell LED strips with controller. Gotta make sure it's flashing Christmas as hell when I do the annual Santa route to hand out candy and collect food donations. Though the interior lighting is mostly for party times when I'm DD. Gotta reach out and see if they can do an extra interior strip to go above my hex rack.

Anybody want to trade other 17” wheels for my 17” oem 4Runner trd pro wheels with 265/70/17 falken wildpeaks? Looking for aftermarket wheels or 4Runner trd trail sport gray wheels or maybe other oem wheels too.

I'm 100% now but after my surgery the pain was worse for about 2 months. As I previously mentioned I worked up until the day of my surgery. After the surgery I had to use a walker to get around in my cabin. I could barely walk. I also had to do another round of physical therapy after surgery to help recover. My surgery took a hour longer than expected because of my size. Are you going to physical therapy?

Of you’re looking at the VLEDs footwells, you can get a second set for the back. You’d probably need an extension too. Reach the hex rack.
The VLEDs hook up to the a connector in the r/h driver pillar and work when you open the door and then dim when truck is on. Last I checked thought limited in color choices.

I rented a GMC Terrain recently. It wasn’t terrible, but I would never consider purchasing one. So many oddities that would drive me nuts. The only redeeming quality was the backup camera. Quality is significantly better than my Tacoma.

Plus there’s the whole GMC reliability…

Honda, Toyota, Subaru, maybe Mazda (plus luxury equivalents). I would keep it to those brands for a kid hauler.

Look at the Lexus RX. Those new Pilots are very sharp looking as well. If I was looking at new cars (single dude) I would even look at the Pilot. I’m impressed from the outside.

And I get hate for this, but if you don’t need a luxury vehicle, go over to Mitsubishi. You won’t beat the bang for buck.

But there is the threat that they fold their North American car brand any day lol

I think that would be one reason my wife would avoid those.

We’ll see what happens. I’d like her to drive the T4R TRD pro and the grand highlander and see if either will work.

No one ever listens, but Mitsubishi makes a very good vehicle. And those new Outlander’s are sharp looking.

If you are in the neighborhood of a dealership, I would recommend you at least sit in one.

But I guess @Taco critter and I shall remain the only guys in here on team Mitsubishi

I made a post in the 4Runner sister site and someone pointed out that the T4R limited is AWD and the Pro is 4WD. That might put her solidly in a limited if we go with it.

May i can get her a used set of pro shocks/struts or Kings with the amount saved from not getting the pro.

It’s a mall crawler. Just drive it on the stock suspension for a while.

The Limited 4R’s ride well. I strongly considered one over the Taco.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. She’s said she wants it lifted and bigger tires. But like you said, for a mall crawler, maybe blocks… though I’d hate to put those on a 50k suv. Could probably get the look she wants with bigger tires.
Definitely not 33s as they are all E rated.

My personal opinion is that if a lift is a must, consider a lower trim level. While the AWD is nice, the reality is if AWD is truly necessary, she can shift into 4WD, or more realistically should not be driving in the conditions. Just keep good rubber on the 4R.

I really hope that is not the case… everything you have gone through sounds absolutely awful. I’m happy to hear how much better you’re doing now, but going through all those different types of relief options only to end up in more pain after surgery… I hope this is where our stories go in different directions. And I can’t imagine this pain getting even worse… as for PT, I have not started any of that yet. It hasn’t even been suggested by the specialist yet. They seem to be pretty confident that they can get me fixed up with these injections. Fingers crossed!!

The new GX is going to have a power liftgate I think. The trail trim level, whatever is called, looks like it's going to have everything that I loved about my t4r, plus what I love about my GX. Minus the v8
