Yea, me either. Once they’re worn out, I might go down to where I can get c or lt rated, I think those are the ratings. I like the look of the 33s but a little softer ride would be nice. I don’t need to feel everything on the road

 

That makes sense! I’ve had these E rated grabbers for over 30K miles now and I think they ride really well. I know the C rated tires are always a lot lighter which would be a plus.

I need the added sidewall strength of the E rated tires so I don’t think I’ll ever be going down in load rating unfortunately.

 

I hear that. While I like the sidewall strength, I’ll probably never do off roading where I’d need it. I would not go higher than green trails, if I can help it. Hell, I’ve only been non beach off roading once or twice.
I think with a different suspension the E rated would not be an issue but my Ironman kit is stiff by design. Not that I dislike it, I still like it and the idea of no maintenance to it. Would be better if I had more constant weight.

 

Yeah if you aren’t doing much off road stuff then the E rated tires would be overkill I think, unless you tow a lot or something.

 

Nope, nothing fun lately. I’m hoping to go to AOAA for the takeover, just waiting to see if my kid has trunk or treat I have to go to.

 

Just gotta splurge on a set of spare rims to keep for your driving tires and a set to load up for your mudding tires lol

 

I thought about that and I have my oem wheels and tires but they look sad on my truck now lol.

I could sell those and get a newer everyday off road set

 

I enjoyed a 5hour 120mile ride today on all backroads & trails. I even did a stream crossing.

 

Put the RWD to work today at George washington National forest.

 

I’ve been thinking the same for the same reason. Haven’t done research yet tho.

 

My son and I were there a couple weeks ago and had a good meal at The Rabbit Hole. Prob a bit overpriced, but it's right there on the main drag in old town. Lots of local beers on the menu, as well. The Bolivar Bread Bakery was fantastic, btw.
