there are two real rules at the cove... don't be a dick and don't ruin it for everyone else

officially they say you can't use the trails but as long as you don't get stuck and come asking them to pull you out or bother other campers they don't go patrolling the trails.

my buddy (the one who recommended the place to me) has been going there for over 10 yrs, multiple times a year and is not part of any group. his friends get pretty rowdy up there and have never had an issue with mgmt.

its a pretty chill place as long as you respect others

the first thing they told me when i checked in was no off roading. then everytime i went back to buy more ice/firewood and my truck was progressively more and more trashed they only asked if i was having fun lol

Never understood why they are not open to wheel year round they could make a ton more cash and still preserve trails by periodically closing some of them

might be more of a liability/insurance cost prohibitive sort of thing... this way if i got hurt/got stuck, damaged my truck...etc they can always say they were closed.

They can get legal waivers for th at .you have to sign 1for any big dog event or other event.I went 2 yrs ago to wheel with my nephew and buddies during the Bronco roundup.funny a group of broncos(50-60) most not wheeling and us there with 7 to 10 jeeps and we had to move .over anytime one of them was on a trail.we all had to sign a waiver.

From what I heard a few days ago due to the birds that inhabit the beach the off road season is on hold. Let me know if I heard wrong.

Hey, if you're coming to jersey, island beach state park is a place you can go on the beach, but you'd have to look up the rules on it, I think you need to prove your going on the beach to "fish" and idk how far away that is from ocean city

Are those boxes able to handle any load being applied to them?
