    A buddy here on the mountain asked me if I knew anyone that wanted this old aluminum canoe for scrap. It was left by the po of his cabin. I couldn't see it being scrapped so I grabbed it. It's a 1964. Not sure if it floats but if not it would make a neat cabin decoration.

    Although that port gunwale does look like it's bowed pretty significantly outboard.

    The side does have a area where it's pushed in. But since it's aluminum I can probably pull it out by hand. Or some taps with a block of wood. Bottom looks good. Since I'm close to the river It's more than likely just gonna be a decoration piece. I would like to get 2 life-size plastic skeletons and sit them on the seats with cheap orange colored solar lights shining on them at night for a Halloween decoration. Or scarecrows for a Fall decoration. Or use it as a planter this upcoming Spring. Either way better than getting cut up for scrap. The Trail store down in Berkeley Springs has 2 in worse shape than mine for decoration in front of their store.
