Sucks buddy… guess it’s time to get a shopping list going and see how much the insurance check is going to be. Hopefully enough to cover some nice new LED heads and a full steel bumper.

Sauer called it, deer jumped INTO my truck while I was deiving through Newark. Pretty gnarly too, I have like 8 inches of the seal between my LF tire and rim just packed with fur.

Yeah, I just dropped the truck off at Newark Toyota's collision/body center so the adjister can come out and take a look. Bumper is jacked up, fender is bent so bad it's separating from the hood and causing rubbing when I open my driver side door, allignment is jacked up, fog light and headlight are trashed, and the truck steering is off because it's pulling in different directions.

I DO have an aluminum bumper sitting in my garage that was waiting for a lift kit and suspension. I have to call @memario1214 tomorrow to talk about that since my replies to his conversation have been admittedly intermittent based on my free time. I want to get a quote for repairs, see what's fucked up and how fucked up, then see how much I can save by not having them replace the bumper or headlight and see what I can do myself. Maybe some of that savings can go toward a new suspension?

Damn, that sucks. I hit a deer at 65mph a couple months ago. Luckily my damage was minimal.

Thanks, me too! Was running at around 35, 40mph in 4 high when it happened. I was able to control the truck, slow down, and get over despite all the snow and ice so everyone inside the vehicle was ok
