probably not right on the beach, but living a 30 min drive or so would be cool, it would beat the crap out of the 2.5 hour drive to go dive in a glass of ice water im doing now

    I wish i had a "shop"

I am not 100% sure what to tell you. I know there are certain weapons (your long guns) that you shouldn't have to worry about.

Bolt action rifles are fine, AR platforms have to have to be HBAR and a non folding stock(Collapsible/adjustable are OK) to be legal, magazines are limited to 10 rds IIRC, but do your homework. also have to do the MD HQL if you bring pistols with you, and i recommend the collectors stamp thing if you want to buy more than one gun a month.

bringing a pistol with me. quick google says "You do not need a Handgun Qualification License to own a gun you already have. The Handgun Qualification License is only needed for purchasing, transferring, or renting a regulated firearm after October 1, 2013."

Don't become an MD res...I'm holding onto my Tx license as long as possible. Im a competitive shooter and a big-time firearm owner. It's better to just stay under the radar than let people know anything.

I just checked with my dad (NRA Instructor for rifle and shotgun) as long as you still have all the original paperwork from where you bought it, you dont have to register anything ever, and the banned list dosent apply to you if they were purchased out of state. as for transport, bring everything separate, no loaded mags or anything, and you should be fine if you get stopped for some reason.

Maryland also has no case law but the handguns and other as they call them "assault" weapons have to be way from you (trunk or bed), locked in a box...ammo separate

Standard shotguns and rifles can literally lay on the back seat out in the open as long as mags, and ammo are not in the weapons.

    so then here's the issue.....

the hand gun in question, I purchased private sale here in texas. texas, being awesome, requires absolutely zero paperwork or record of such sale.
