    Good Mornin'

House is maybe 1/3rd moved. I made 4 trips w/ the truck full. Topper lift makes loading so much easier as I can adjust things from the sides. But with more-systems-added to something failure rates increase. Something crushed one of the plugs the actuators use so I had to do some wiring-fixes last night. Not a huge deal, but just a reminder things break. Tonite we'll load the truck and make another trip up. I might get out of this thing without having to rent a uhaul. We'll do two trips saturday, and another sunday, and maybe one monday. That'll leave only the biggest furniture items - maybe a dresser and the mattresses. Speaking of that - Uhaul vans here are about 25% more expensive vs renting one up there, adding $1.29/mile here compared to $.99 up there. The van size i'm looking at doesn't have much lower load level than my truck so I'm leaning against the idea. I find it really nice to be moving slowly vs one or two hectic days.

Congrats on all the moving, and sorry about the repair but life happens sometimes lol.

One thing to consider with that uHaul is if you rent up there, you're doubling the mileage and paying more anyway

Maybe - if I rent from here I'll have to drive it, one trip, back here empty after we're done. If I rent from up there, I'm driving it down here empty before I start.

    A day rental is $20 + mileage.

A one-way rental is $130 (here) vs $100 (there), but there's a 50 mile limit from either. Now, if I rented a truck, then towed it down here somehow...hrm... :D

They gone gitcha one way or another yeah? :)

The off-road place in Delmar has a site now. This place might not be a bad option for those that don’t want to scratch up their trucks driving through the woods at AOAA.

probably in cahoots with the petroleum industry, big auto-labor, mechanics....things Jeeps need due to leaks and breaks. Oh - and likely amalgamated with rubber duck makers.

Give me your opinions...looking to get a winch and will probably use it at some point. There is a guy selling a badlands 12000 synthetic used winch (says used 3x for sxs), 1 year old for $350 or there is a guy selling a new in box Warn EVO 10s synthetic winch for $600. Would you grab one of these two?

New update from Toyota - it's gonna take longer to fix my truck. Estimate is up to about $10k now. They have to replace a UCA and knuckle from the damn deer.

Edit: also, apparently my calipers are starting to stick so I need to get new rotors, pads, and calipers once I get my truck back

They said front calipers, so it sounds like general wear and tear
