I recall hearing something recently that was discontinued maybe last year or the year before.

Not discrediting peoples thoughts, opinions, concerns, etc. About driving over bridges and needing assistance. IMO, bay Bridge is nothing compared to the old Harry Nice bridge.

i like driving over bridges but there have been times when my butt was clenched going over the Nice bridge.

    Glad it's getting replaced...

I can't tell how many weekends my parents and I crossed that bridge. Stretched our legs at the park or picnics on the Dalgren side.

Good morning! Commute was fantastic today - wish, of course, was a stronger storm - but it's still great to look at and drive through.

The Move is going well - slowly but surely of course. I think I'll be able to get it all done w/ just my tacoma - I can't stress enough how handy the topper lift is. If I hadn't had this lift I wouldn't be able to fit our mattresses and box springs. Heck, just being able to load the truck from the sides is terrific.

Yeah, I may have to see what I can't do to get you up in the Elkton area. Previous owners had the garage doors put in and I'm pretty sure one is missing some sort of hardware or allignment because when it closes, it's 2" off the ground. Always have to hit the button to close it, then go step on the handle to finish closing it lol

That almost sounds like the motor just needs to re-learn the cycle of all way up and all way down… unless your door is missing the seal gasket on the bottom panel at the ground.

That’s about the extent of my knowledge… you’re welcome. Where would you like me to send the bill?

There should be adjustment screws up on the motor to change the closing distance.

Learned something interesting about the 4th gen taco about the wheels and offset- Copied @Jeff Lange response to a comment of mine-

“Going from stock wheel to 8.5" 0 offset on a 2023 Tacoma moves the outside of the wheel outwards 45 mm.
Going from stock wheel to 8.5" 0 offset on a 2024 Tacoma moves the outside of the wheel outwards 50 - 80 mm, depending on model.”

I remember reading there is a difference with the bore size too but I don’t remember if it was bigger or smaller…

Here is a 8.5” wheel 0 offset compared to my -12 offset 8” wheel.
