I think I looked at a Ranger Raptor build and it was cheaper than the Trail Hunter too. I don’t think the raptor had some of the off road things the TH did but I didn’t look into it enough to figure it out. Would also need to see how the ford service center waiting room is since there’d be a lot of time spent in there

 

Hahaha that actually made me laugh. I used to have a 2003 Escape back in the day and that thing was a tank! I’m sure it’s just like other vehicles and the quality has dropped off recently though.

 

Just get a truck similar in color. Apparently Underground is close to MGM that my old truck is. Nobody noticed except my last truck was stick shift so they eventually figured it out

 

That’s pretty hilarious. I don’t want another black truck. While it’s a great color, it’s terrible to maintain. I get to admire it clean for about 5 min after it’s washed and dried before it’s coated in pollen and water spots from no where lol.

I like the Bronze Oxide and that would too tough to hide. Also hoping Everest is offered for the 25. Not too hopeful since the 4R with it is made in Japan and the Tacoma isn’t in the same place.

 

Wouldn't be bad to let us guys that jumped in early test run the 24's before the 25's come out first

Facts. I swore I would not buy another black vehicle, then guess what color my Tacoma ended up being?

It does look nice though for about 10 minutes post detail.

 

I also will never be purchasing another black truck lol. I’ll probably get mine painted pyrite green one day. I think that’s the name of the 1st gen color right?

 

I would take black over silver and white though.

That’s a nice green color! I like the 2nd gen green too. If o had a spare 4K I’d get mine wrapped in a nice forest metallic green.

 

Great minds think alike lol I got some quotes for getting mine wrapped when I first got it but I already had some pinstripes from the trail so it didn’t seem like a good idea. I didn’t want to have to pay for paint correction and THEN a wrap. Everything I read says the paint has to be in good shape for the wrap to stick properly .

Morning everyone

 

I’ve always done the normal drive through car washes for mine just out of convenience.

I’m getting it detailed soon though and they’re applying a polymer paint sealant so after that I’m going to try my hand at hand washing it. We’ll see how long I keep that up lol

 

A few years ago I bough a cheap electric pressure washer and for a while I washed by hand a lot. Sometimes I’m just too lazy lol.

 

I’ve been debating between doing that and just finding somewhere that has the self service wash bays with the pressure washers.

 

Sometimes just going through the touchless is nice but they never get the black truck all the way clean. There is usually the dirt and dust film that stays on there.


I don’t mind when it’s off road mud and water stuff but the road grime sucks lol
