Ain't No Way I'd buy another new vehicle right now.

Of course, this is just personal opinion but...dang...that is silly money on a truck that should cost in the neighborhood of $40K.

I'm gonna TLC my Sporty Spice Tacoma for as long as I am able.

I know you're DREAMING about a new truck so keep posting these links...I'll only reply like this once.

I was talking NEW trucks but I get the joke!

Well, I was too. New trucks today shouldn't cost more than $25k when we think of what we actually get for the money. The amount of money the manufacturer needs to charge to make their payroll, overhead, etc, offers no value to me. Other than some programming, gadgets, infotainment, etc, there is not $40k-worth of difference in performance across at least 3 of the 4 generations of tacoma.

 

It’s pretty crazy what they cost.

I saw an OR for over 65k with the max engine. Not sure who would buy that thing.

 

Afternoon all… was off due to rain that never really showed up. So I decided to run over to the farm and fish the ponds for a bit.


Not a bad day… caught 10 bass. Missed the set on probably another 4 or 5. Best one was about 3lbs.

I just test drove a 4th gen sr5, drive ability seat comfort has me sold. But they are a bit high. I'm looking into regearing and doing a suspension and camper on my SR. Did the online appraisal on CarMax for 26k but probably be less than that after they actually look at it. Kinda at a cross roads...
