Yea, that’s also close if not at Lexus prices (I don’t know if that’s true at all but seems like what I remember).

I need to start talking up the Grand Highlander or the RAV4 or something lol

 

The GH is really nice. I don’t think my wife has any complaints about it…. Well besides the auto braking sometimes in the garage but I’d prefer that then hitting something in there.

There is a 2” lift kit for it as well. Can have heated and vented seats in front and second row. Heads up display on the platinum, which is really nice to have. Auto lane switching in cruise (not that I’ve tried it yet), lots of room.

I don’t like that the 2nd row seats are weird to move. There are like three or 4 levers to try and move the seat different ways or slide it forward.

Like it lifted… could use another 1” if available. Definitely, do not care for the 20’s and those tires. 17’s or 18’s would be much better with a bit more sidewall. Those look like all side lug to me. Definitely looks great lifted though!!

 

I couldn’t agree more. I’m a small wheel, big tire kinda guy.

Good morning fellow taco owners, this morning my rear brakes got hung up. Didn't have the wheels in water but down here in Georgia it's raining and alot of fog. This happened last summer and ended up doing a brake job. This hasn't happened since last summer until today.
One thing I don't use is my e brake at all.
I've lived here in central after moving from frederick md. This issue never happened in Maryland with the snow and ice. Is this a common issue with the third 3rd gens. Any ideas

 

Last year I completely disconnected my e brake cable. I had that issue bit don't anymore. This morning it happened due to high humidity hear in central Georgia, my shoes hung up for minutes and was freely after going into reverse and drive a few times.

Great weather to hang out on the river yesterday. Heading back down today to float, grill & watch the fools try to conquer the mud pits. Hope everyone is having a fun & safe Memorial Day weekend.

Not sure if this is a common issue with the 3rd’s… but I am aware of it because I had the exact same issue. Last year after about a 30 minute drive to the lake… guess brakes got a bit hat with 3200ish pounds of trailer. Had the rear brakes in the water at the ramp because the water level was pretty low. Went and parked it right after (with e-brake engaged) for about 6 hours. One of the real wheels hung up so bad it was literally dragging it. Ended up putting it in 4hi and rocking it back and forth to get it to release. Thankfully, it never happened again. But yea… it’s a thing.

Took the fam out to the lake for about 8 hours, and some friends met us there later in the day. Beautiful weather, little sun burn and 4 decent bass.
