Sounds fun! I’m not a big snorkel guy, but do love the Alpha snorkel… mostly because I love carbon fiber with a passion. lol! I do occasionally get some use out of my Yakima roof basket. Mostly when camping though. Any other times, the bed handles everything just fine.

I still need to get my CMC and ECGS bushing done. Plus, I still have all my auxiliary lights and interior speakers to get wired up. Just hard to find the time to get it all done. I like to use the Fall and Winter months for “truck downtime” I guess you could say. Always too much going on during the Spring and Summer months.

 

That one does look good. A little pricy though lol.

what lights and speakers you putting in?

I don’t camp, well trying to this summer, or as far as I can get my wife which is a cabin thing at twin grove in PA.

 

I have the Kicker door and rear speaker kit to throw in… it’s a plug and play kit, so it should be fairly simple. As per lights, I still have my DD ditch lights to install, and I have 10 (lol) ProComp lights to add to the mix. 4 on the front bumper, 4 on the roof and 2 on the bed mounts. Sounds like overkill for sure, but in my head it’s gonna be great!

Camping is a blast once you have the right equipment and work out the kinks first couple times. Sadly, since buying the ‘toon, we’ve been shying away from the woods and back to the water. Not that it’s a bad thing, but I do miss camping more often.

 

Sounds like a lot of fun things you’ve got to do! Will be interested in seeing them done.

I could get a kicker key amp and new rear door speakers but I probably wouldn’t be able to tell they were upgraded. Hearing loss and tinnitus suck lol.

Out on the Bay

 

Beautiful pic! My dad & I have a 21ft 2019 Carolina Skiff sitting in his driveway in Baltimore basically unused for years. I have fun here in WV playing & fishing on the Potomac & Cacapon rivers but I do miss boating on the bay. I've been considering buying a fishing kayak to use here on the rivers.

That’s a good looking boat! I think you’ve got the better deal out there in WV without the bay. Always jealous of the pictures you post. Looks like a great lift out there.

I hope so. Unfortunately the rock fish limit is one per person, 19-24” in length.

If we reach the limit and have time the Cpt said we’ll go after drum or snakehead. That’ll be fun, have never caught either of those.

Hibernating in the a/c today. In-laws are coming out for birthday party. Hopefully we can find something to do to entertain for a few hours beings it’s way too hot for anything outside today! Wife made a fresh batch of brownies, cheesy potatoes and 4lbs of steamed shrimp. I have 6 steaks marinating from last night in the fridge that are destined to be seared in butter on the BlackStone.

I want to say I read that you need to sign a liability waiver incase an animal messes up your truck.
