Yeah some guy made a thread about choosing between a trail hunter and the new LC and he wound up dropping like $70K for a new LC. I think it’s safe to say we aren’t really considering them anymore because of how bad the base model looks. No way we’re dropping that much money for a truck.

New plan is to wait and see what pricing for the 2025 4Runner looks like and hopefully the SR5’s are still reasonably priced.

 

I think that’s a good plan. Not sure about the LC but the back window still goes down the the 4R

 

I saw that recently, that’s pretty cool. Almost like a sunroof but without the potential for leaking problems (I would assume).

 

I was upset to see that they didn’t do this with the new Tacoma. I mean the Tundra has it as well. Super convenient feature in my opinion. But instead, they made the new Tacoma’s rear window 1/2 the size of the previous models.

 

I loved my sliding rear window in my 05 Tundra.

speaking of dealer lots, I stopped by one this afternoon and let's just say it sucks being a educated consumer. I had to walk away because I asked if they had any extra cab tacomas and the guy that tried to help me asked 5ft or 6ft bed.

 

Extra cab = max cab space = double cab

Morning all

 

The Tacoma is one of Toyotas most popular vehicles, it's all new for 2024. XC vs DC is the biggest difference between any Tacoma, and it's been that way since the regular cab was dropped. Other than hybrid vs non hybrid, that don't matter since hybrid is a DC only option.
What really makes matters worse the salesman has most likely never seen an XC at their dealership.

 

Bull bar/bumper for trade and cash in Annapolis. No idea of this is a good deal or not. Maybe @Backdoc needs it?

Decided to pull the handhelds out of the truck and make sure they’re working and charge before a run a rausch creek next weekend.

Have not pulled them out since the trip in 2021 with @Scrovak @2ndhandTacoman and a few others to AOAA and they are showing a full charge still!

 

I think I have the same ones but in orange so I don't lose them.
